Pixel repair

Google Pixel Repair in Gulfport, MS

Pixel owners on the Coast usually find that most shops shrug at them. We don't — Pixel is one of the Android lines we actively stock parts for, and Pixel screens, batteries, and USB-C ports are routine work here.

Pixels have their own quirks. The camera bar changes how the phone lands in a drop, the under-display fingerprint sensor has to be handled correctly during a screen replacement, and battery behavior on some generations gets noticeably worse in the third year.

Everything is repaired in-house at our Gulfport shop by certified technicians.

Step 1 of 3

What are we looking at?

What causes this

  • Drops that crack the display, often landing on the camera bar and twisting the frame.
  • Battery capacity loss in the second and third year of ownership.
  • USB-C ports collecting lint until charging becomes intermittent.
  • Heat during heavy use, which accelerates battery wear.
  • Moisture exposure causing corrosion around the port and board.

Symptoms to look for

  • Cracked glass, lines, or dead touch areas
  • Fingerprint sensor no longer reading after a drop or a prior repair
  • Fast battery drain, or shutdowns with charge remaining
  • Charging only at certain cable angles
  • Overheating during camera use or charging

Repair options

Pricing depends on your exact model and what we find once it's open. Call or text and we'll give you a straight answer before you drive over.

Pixel screen replacement

Display assembly replacement with the under-display fingerprint sensor handled properly so it still works afterward.

Battery replacement

New cell and correct reseal. The right call on most Pixels past the two-year mark.

USB-C port service

Cleaning and testing first, replacement when it's genuinely needed.

Camera and speaker repair

Component replacement where parts are available for the generation.

Devices we see most

This isn't a complete list — it's what comes across the bench most often. If your model isn't here, ask. If we can't get the part, we'll tell you immediately.

Current

  • Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL
  • Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
  • Pixel 8a and 7a

Common

  • Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
  • Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a
  • Pixel 5 and 5a on request

What you can safely try

  • Restart, then try safe mode to rule out an app.
  • Check Settings → Battery for a background app draining power.
  • Swap cables and bricks before blaming the port.
  • Look into the USB-C port with a flashlight.
  • Back up to your Google account — on a Pixel this is about as painless as it gets.

When to stop

  • Don't clean the port with metal.
  • Stop charging a Pixel that's swelling or running hot.
  • Don't attempt a DIY screen swap; the fingerprint sensor calibration is easy to ruin.
  • Don't ignore a cracked panel — moisture reaches the display layers quickly.

Before you come in

  • Bring your unlock PIN or pattern.
  • Know your Google account credentials for factory reset protection.
  • Remove the case.
  • Tell us the exact Pixel generation if you know it.

How the visit goes

  • No appointment needed. We're open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, and walk-ins are how most repairs start.
  • Call or text first if you want us to confirm the part is on the shelf before you drive over.
  • You get a straight answer on cost and timing before we start — not after.
  • Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We tell you up front when a repair doesn't qualify.

Gulfport google pixel repair questions

Do you repair Google Pixel phones in Gulfport?

Yes. Pixel is one of the Android lines we stock parts for, covering Pixel 6 through 9 and several older models.

Will my fingerprint sensor still work after a Pixel screen repair?

On a properly done repair, yes — the under-display sensor has to be handled and calibrated correctly, and that's part of the job.

How long does a Pixel screen replacement take?

Roughly 10 to 30 minutes once we start, when the display for your generation is on hand.

My Pixel battery dies by mid-afternoon. Is that fixable?

Usually with a battery replacement, yes. We'll check for a background app draining it first so you don't pay for a part you don't need.

Do you work on Pixel a series phones?

Yes, including the 6a, 7a, and 8a.

Is a Pixel repair covered by warranty?

Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We confirm what applies to your repair before you pay.
