Phone Battery Replacement in Gulfport, MS

A battery replacement is the highest-value repair in this shop. On a phone that's otherwise working, a new cell costs a fraction of a new phone and gives you back the all-day battery life you had when you bought it.

Lithium cells wear out on a schedule, not by accident. Usable capacity falls off noticeably after roughly 400 to 600 full charge cycles, which for most people lands somewhere in year two or three. The phone isn't broken — the battery is simply used up.

We replace batteries on iPhone, Samsung, Pixel, Motorola, and TCL, usually while you wait, at our Gulfport shop.

Serving Gulfport from Creosote Rd

We're at 15007 Creosote Rd, Suite B in north Gulfport, minutes off Highway 49.

Battery jobs are the repair we most often do for people on a lunch break — they're quick, and they're the reason a lot of Gulfport customers keep a phone another two years instead of signing a new contract.

Step 1 of 3

What are we looking at?

What causes this

  • Normal charge cycling — every full cycle takes a little capacity permanently.
  • Heat, which is the fastest way to age a battery, and which the Gulf Coast supplies year-round.
  • Leaving a phone at 100 percent on a charger for long stretches, day after day.
  • Fast charging in a hot car, which combines both stressors.
  • Age itself. Even a lightly used phone loses capacity sitting on a shelf.

Symptoms to look for

  • Shutdowns at 20 or 30 percent, especially in cold or under load
  • Battery health below 80 percent on an iPhone
  • Charge dropping in large jumps rather than steadily
  • The phone getting hot during ordinary use
  • A back cover or screen edge lifting — that's swelling, and it's urgent

Repair options

Pricing depends on your exact model and what we find once it's open. Call or text and we'll give you a straight answer before you drive over.

iPhone battery replacement

New cell installed and battery health verified afterward, on models from the SE through the current generation.

Samsung and Android battery replacement

Galaxy S and A series, Pixel, Motorola, and TCL. Adhesive-sealed phones are properly resealed after the swap.

Swollen battery removal

The one battery job that shouldn't wait. A swelling cell pushes the screen out and is a genuine fire risk.

Battery health testing

If you're not sure the battery is the problem, we test before selling you anything.

Devices we see most

This isn't a complete list — it's what comes across the bench most often. If your model isn't here, ask. If we can't get the part, we'll tell you immediately.

Apple

  • iPhone 11 through 17 families
  • iPhone SE 2nd and 3rd gen
  • Older iPhone X and 8 series

Samsung

  • Galaxy S21 through S25
  • Galaxy A15 through A54
  • Note models

Other Android

  • Google Pixel 6 through 9
  • Motorola Moto G and Edge
  • TCL 30, 40, and 50 series

What you can safely try

  • On iPhone, check Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging for maximum capacity.
  • On Android, check Settings → Battery for usage and any app burning power in the background.
  • Try a different cable and brick before assuming the battery is at fault — slow charging is often a port or cable issue.
  • Turn on battery optimization features and see whether the phone makes it through the day.
  • Note whether shutdowns happen in cold weather, which is a classic worn-battery sign.

When to stop

  • Stop charging any phone that's swelling, hot to the touch, or has a lifting back or screen.
  • Don't puncture, bend, or press a swollen battery — ever.
  • Don't leave a swelling phone in a car or on a bed. Bring it in.
  • Don't buy a battery kit online and open the phone yourself. Modern batteries are glued in and pull tabs snap.

Before you come in

  • Back up if you can, though a battery swap doesn't touch your data.
  • Bring your passcode for post-repair testing.
  • Remove the case.
  • Mention any past screen repair — aftermarket screens change the disassembly.

How the visit goes

  • No appointment needed. We're open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, and walk-ins are how most repairs start.
  • Call or text first if you want us to confirm the part is on the shelf before you drive over.
  • You get a straight answer on cost and timing before we start — not after.
  • Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We tell you up front when a repair doesn't qualify.

Gulfport phone battery replacement questions

How long does a phone battery replacement take?

Usually about 10 to 30 minutes once we start, when we have the battery for your model on hand.

How do I know the battery is the problem and not the phone?

Battery health under 80 percent, shutdowns above 20 percent, and rapid drain are the strongest signs. If you're unsure, we'll test it before recommending the repair.

My phone's back is lifting. Is that dangerous?

Yes. That's a swollen battery. Stop charging the phone and bring it in — this is the one repair we tell people not to postpone.

Will a new battery make my old phone fast again?

Sometimes noticeably, because some phones throttle performance to protect a failing battery. It always fixes the runtime problem.

Do you replace batteries in older phones?

Yes, as long as we can get a quality cell for the model. If we can't, we'll tell you immediately.

Is the battery covered by warranty?

Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We'll confirm what applies to your specific repair before you pay.

Broke it last night?

We open at 8 AM.

Walk in Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM. When the part is on the shelf, most screens, batteries, and charging ports are finished in roughly 10 to 30 minutes — so a phone you broke last night is usually working again before lunch.

Broken device? Let's take a look.

Call or text and we'll tell you what's likely wrong, whether we have the part, and how long it should take. No forms, no waiting on an emailed quote.
