What you can safely try
- Check Settings → Battery for an app consuming power in the background.
- Boot into safe mode for a day — if battery life is normal there, it's an app, not the cell.
- Try a different cable and brick; slow charging is often a port or cable fault.
- Turn on adaptive battery and see whether it changes anything.
- Note whether shutdowns happen in cold weather.
When to stop
- Stop charging a Galaxy whose back cover is separating.
- Never press or puncture a swollen cell.
- Don't leave a swelling phone charging overnight.
- Don't attempt a home battery swap — Samsung adhesive requires heat and the cell sits under other components.

- Bring your PIN or pattern and your Google credentials.
- Remove the case.
- Mention any prior repair, especially a screen replacement.
- Back up to Google Photos if you haven't lately.

Will my phone still be water resistant afterward?
We reseal with fresh adhesive as part of the job, which restores the seal as well as it can be restored. No repair shop can certify a factory rating, and we won't claim otherwise.
Is a battery worth it on an A series phone?
Very often yes. It's the cheapest way to get another couple of years out of a phone that otherwise works fine.
My Galaxy back is lifting off. What's happening?
That's a swollen battery. Stop charging it and bring it in the same day if you can — this one is a safety issue.
How do I know it's the battery and not the phone?
Shutdowns with charge remaining and rapid drain are the strongest signs. If you're unsure, we'll test before recommending the repair.
Do you replace Note batteries?
Yes, on Note 10 and Note 20 models and others where the cell is available.
