Gulfport phone repair

Phone Repair in Gulfport, MS

Phone repair is the core of what we do. Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and liquid damage — on Apple and Android — handled in-house on Creosote Rd in Gulfport by Apple ACMT and ACiT certified, CompTIA A+ certified technicians.

Many of the repairs we do most often are finished in about 10 to 30 minutes when the part is on the shelf. That's not a marketing number. It's what a screen or battery swap actually takes when the phone is a model we stock for and nothing else is wrong with it.

We've been fixing devices on the Coast since 2009. In that time the thing customers tell us they value most isn't speed — it's that we say what the repair is, what it costs, and what we can't promise, before we take the phone apart.

Parts are the whole game with turnaround. We stock screens, batteries, and charging ports for the iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, Motorola, and TCL models we see most on the Coast. When your model isn't one we keep on the shelf, we can usually have the part overnighted and ready the next morning — and we tell you that on the phone instead of letting you drive over to find out.

Walk in Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM at 15007 Creosote Rd, Suite B. Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty, iPads and tablets are handled at the same bench, and if you're weighing shops you can read our plain comparison of phone repair in Gulfport before you decide.

Serving Gulfport from Creosote Rd

We're at 15007 Creosote Rd, Suite B, just off Highway 49 on the north side of Gulfport. If you're coming from downtown Gulfport, Orange Grove, or the Crossroads area, it's a short run up 49 and a right onto Creosote. Parking is directly in front of the suite.

Most of our customers are Gulfport locals, but we see plenty of people from Biloxi, Long Beach, D'Iberville, and Saucier who drive in because the repair gets done while they wait instead of getting shipped off. Keesler and Seabee personnel are a regular part of our day, and we'll always tell you honestly whether the trip is worth it before you make it.

Step 1 of 3

What are we looking at?

What causes this

  • Drops onto tile, concrete, and parking lots — the most common single cause of a phone on our bench.
  • Battery chemistry: usable capacity falls off noticeably after roughly 400 to 600 full charge cycles.
  • Pocket lint compacting inside the charging port until the cable no longer seats fully.
  • Coast humidity, pools, and the Gulf — moisture causes corrosion that spreads over days, not seconds.
  • Cheap or failing charging cables and bricks that cook a battery or damage a port over time.

Symptoms to look for

  • Cracked glass, dead touch zones, green or purple lines, or a display that stays black
  • Shutdowns above 20 percent, or a phone that drains from full to empty in a few hours
  • The cable only charges when you hold it at an angle
  • Muffled calls, callers who can't hear you, or a speaker that crackles
  • Blurry or shaking camera, or a camera app that won't open

Repair options

Pricing depends on your exact model and what we find once it's open. Call or text and we'll give you a straight answer before you drive over.

Screen replacement

Full display assembly replacement on iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, Motorola, and TCL. We explain the panel options for your model before you commit so you know what you're paying for.

Battery replacement

New cell installed and health verified afterward. On a phone that's otherwise fine, this is usually the cheapest way to get another couple of years out of it.

Charging port service

We clean and test first. Plenty of ports don't need replacing at all, and we're not going to charge you for a port job when lint was the problem.

Cameras, speakers, and microphones

Individual component replacement rather than a blanket board swap, when the part is available for your model.

Liquid damage evaluation

Board inspection and cleaning with an honest assessment. Some phones come back fully, some don't, and we tell you which one we think yours is before you spend money.

Known-issue soldering

Limited, known-issue board work only — the specific faults we've done many times. We don't trace circuits, and we say so instead of taking your money to find out.

Devices we see most

This isn't a complete list — it's what comes across the bench most often. If your model isn't here, ask. If we can't get the part, we'll tell you immediately.

Apple

  • iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 families
  • iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd gen)
  • Older iPhone X and 8 series

Samsung

  • Galaxy S21 through S25
  • Galaxy A series (A15, A25, A35, A54)
  • Galaxy Note and Z folding models

Other Android

  • Google Pixel 6 through 9
  • Motorola Moto G and Edge
  • TCL 30, 40, and 50 series

What you can safely try

  • Restart the phone before assuming the hardware failed. A surprising number of 'dead' phones aren't.
  • Check battery health in Settings — iPhone lists maximum capacity, and most Androids show battery info in device care or a diagnostic menu.
  • Try a different cable and a different wall brick before you assume the port is bad.
  • Shine a light into the charging port. Seeing packed lint tells you a lot.
  • Back up to iCloud, Google, or a computer while the phone still powers on.

When to stop

  • Don't dig in the charging port with a paperclip, pin, or anything metal.
  • Stop charging a phone that gets hot to the touch or has a back that's lifting — that's a swelling battery.
  • Don't keep powering on a phone that got wet. Each boot spreads corrosion further across the board.
  • Don't open the device yourself. Modern phones are glued and pressure-sealed, and a hobby pry job usually turns a cheap repair into an expensive one.

Before you come in

  • Back up if you can, though most repairs never touch your data.
  • Know your passcode — we need it to test functions like Face ID, the cameras, and the speakers after the repair.
  • Remove the case and any screen protector you want to keep.
  • Tell us the whole story, including drops or water, even if it was months ago. It changes what we look for.

How the visit goes

  • No appointment needed. We're open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, and walk-ins are how most repairs start.
  • Call or text first if you want us to confirm the part is on the shelf before you drive over.
  • You get a straight answer on cost and timing before we start — not after.
  • Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We tell you up front when a repair doesn't qualify.

Gulfport phone repair questions

How long does a phone repair take in Gulfport?

Most common phone repairs — screens, batteries, charging ports — take roughly 10 to 30 minutes once we start, provided the part for your model is on the shelf. Liquid damage and board-level work take longer because they involve cleaning, drying, and testing.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We're a walk-in shop, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM. Calling or texting ahead is still worth it so we can confirm your part is in stock before you drive over.

Do you keep parts in stock?

We stock the parts for the models we see most, which covers a large share of the phones in Gulfport. For less common models we order in, and we'll tell you the timing honestly rather than guessing.

Will I lose my photos and data?

Screen, battery, and port repairs don't touch your storage. We still recommend a backup before any repair, because the safest assumption with electronics is that anything can happen.

Is there a warranty on the repair?

Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. Liquid damage and some board-level work don't qualify, and we tell you that before we start rather than after.

Do you repair phones from other Coast cities?

Yes. We regularly see customers from Biloxi, Long Beach, D'Iberville, Ocean Springs, Pass Christian, Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead, and Saucier. Everything is done at our Creosote Rd shop in Gulfport.

Broke it last night?

We open at 8 AM.

Walk in Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM. When the part is on the shelf, most screens, batteries, and charging ports are finished in roughly 10 to 30 minutes — so a phone you broke last night is usually working again before lunch.
