Samsung repair
Samsung Galaxy Screen Repair in Gulfport, MS
Galaxy screens are the most common Samsung repair we do, and the one where the honest explanation matters. On most Galaxy models the OLED panel is bonded to the frame, so the replacement part is a larger assembly than the bare glass people picture — which is why a Galaxy screen costs what it does.
We explain that up front, per model, so the number isn't a surprise at the counter. Then we do the work in-house at our Gulfport shop.
Curved-edge flagships, flat A series panels, and Note displays are all routine here.

Step 1 of 3
What causes this
- Drops that land on the curved edge of an S series flagship, where the panel is most exposed.
- Face-down falls onto tile, concrete, and asphalt.
- Pressure in a bag or back pocket.
- An earlier crack spreading until the panel underneath failed.
- Aftermarket panels from a previous repair losing touch response.
Symptoms to look for
- Cracked glass, spiderwebbing, or missing glass at a corner
- Green, pink, or black vertical bars
- Touch dead along one edge or in patches
- Ghost touches, or the phone acting on its own
- Black display where the phone still rings and vibrates
Repair options
Pricing depends on your exact model and what we find once it's open. Call or text and we'll give you a straight answer before you drive over.
Galaxy display assembly replacement
Standard repair for S, A, and Note models. We confirm the exact part for your model number before quoting.
Model-specific explanation of cost
Because Samsung bonds panel to frame on most models, we walk you through what's being replaced and why the part costs what it does.
Touch faults without visible damage
Dead zones and ghost touches on intact glass are still a display problem. We test before replacing anything.
Burn-in and ghost image
Persistent images on older AMOLED panels are permanent panel wear, and a display replacement is the only real fix.
Devices we see most
This isn't a complete list — it's what comes across the bench most often. If your model isn't here, ask. If we can't get the part, we'll tell you immediately.

What you can safely try
- Tape the crack to stop glass shedding.
- Restart once — a black screen that still rings is occasionally a software hang.
- Back up to Google Photos and your Samsung account now, while touch still works.
- Enable a screen lock method that doesn't need the broken area, if touch is failing in one spot.
- Note whether the phone got wet after cracking.
When to stop
- Stop using a screen with exposed glass edges.
- Don't press hard on dead touch zones.
- Don't attempt a heat gun and pry kit at home — Samsung adhesive is unforgiving and the panel is fragile.
- Don't wait weeks; moisture reaching the panel makes the repair worse, not cheaper.
Before you come in
- Bring your PIN, pattern, or password.
- Know your Google and Samsung account credentials.
- Remove the case and any protector.
- Bring the exact model number if you can — Settings → About phone.
How the visit goes
- No appointment needed. We're open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, and walk-ins are how most repairs start.
- Call or text first if you want us to confirm the part is on the shelf before you drive over.
- You get a straight answer on cost and timing before we start — not after.
- Qualifying repairs carry a lifetime warranty. We tell you up front when a repair doesn't qualify.
Gulfport samsung galaxy screen repair questions
How much does a Galaxy screen repair cost in Gulfport?
It depends on the model — S series flagship panels cost considerably more than A series ones. Text us your model number and we'll give you a straight figure.
Why are Samsung screens more expensive than iPhone screens?
On most Galaxy models the OLED panel is bonded to the frame, so the part is a full assembly rather than just a display. That's a manufacturing decision, not a markup.
How long does the repair take?
Usually about 10 to 30 minutes once we start, when we have the display for your model in stock.
Will the fingerprint sensor still work?
On models with an under-display sensor, a correctly performed replacement keeps it working. That handling is part of the job.
Can you fix screen burn-in?
Burn-in is permanent panel wear, so the fix is a display replacement. If the phone is otherwise good, it's often worth it.
Do you repair curved-edge S Ultra screens?
Yes. Curved panels are more delicate to work with, which is exactly why they're worth having done by someone who does them regularly.
