Warranty
Lifetime warranty on qualifying repairs
If a part we installed fails on its own, we make it right. No fine-print gymnastics — here is exactly what that means.
What's covered
- Defects in the replacement part we installed
- Workmanship on the repair we performed
- A replacement screen that develops dead touch, lines or backlight failure on its own
- A replacement battery that fails to hold a normal charge
- A replacement charging port that stops working without physical damage
What's excluded
- New physical damage — a fresh crack, bend or impact after the repair
- Liquid damage after the repair, and any repair originally performed on a liquid-damaged device
- Repairs opened or worked on by someone else afterwards
- Software problems, accounts, passwords and data loss
- Devices with pre-existing board damage we disclosed before the repair
- Normal wear on parts we did not replace
How a claim works
No forms and no email chains. Call or text, bring the device in, and we look at it.
- 01
Call or text us and tell us what the device is doing.
- 02
Bring it in. We check the repair we performed.
- 03
If the part or our work failed, we replace or redo it.
- 04
If it's new damage, we tell you honestly and quote the repair.
"Qualifying repairs" means the standard part replacements listed above. Liquid damage work and repairs on previously damaged devices can never be guaranteed, and we will always tell you that before we start rather than after. TBG+ members can look up their warranty records from their account.
